I purchased these lights because our home doesn't have adequate daylight and I needed to be able to increase the amount of light my plants are getting. I am an avid plant grower, and grow plants both for enjoyment and because I write about them. So although it seems like a good product, the bulb was defective and if the bulbs lasts up to 30 days, it's too bad if it fails after. If you would like instructions on how to adjust your feedback, please let me know and I will be glad to further assist you." We do make exceptions for this policy and we did attempt to resolve this for you by manually intervening but since you are dissatisfied with our effort, then we encourage you to please contact the manufacturer directly to have this matter resolved. I apologize if you have had a difficult experience regarding this product and since you contacted us after the 30 day return period for this item, the responsibility is with the manufacturer and not ProMax Commerce. Today I rec'd an email stating: "Thank you for your ultimatum. I emailed and said I would be re-reviewing if I got no positive response from them by this Friday 12/31. I called again and they, too, had not reached anyone successfully. was a pain and after 90 minutes of being on hold or switched to various extensions, I called the seller back and asked them to intercede as the product has a one year warranty. I had not noticed the flaking prior as I simply turn it on and walk away. I called the seller and was asked to call the manufacturer. The blue substance has essentially flaked off. The light bulb that came with this product is coated with a blue substance.
